Round 1

So, today was the day... the first round of the DCVAX-L vaccine!!

Yesterday, the preparation began. Todd had an MRI and received Keytruda through an IV. Today, he received injections of DCVAX and an immunotherapy agent called POLY-ICLC in each arm.

He's sleeping right now, and as long as he has no reaction, we'll leave UCLA to head back to the apartment in a couple of hours.

This is the first of three rounds and the first step in saving his life. 🤗

The second round is December 17th.
